We hosted a playgroup this week and it was sooo much fun. This is the first couch photo we've been able to take in a long time .... credit goes to Elmo! (L to R: Callie, Gates, Jacob and Hudson)

My beautiful niece Alyssa, Jacob calls her La-la (the one smiling in the pic), turned 10 yesterday and we celebrated with her favorite dinner ..... homemade chicken and dumplings. It was very yummy! I can't believe she is ten .... I lived with my sister and bro-n-law right out of college and used to play peek-a-boo with her when she was one!
My nieces just got a pet guinnea pig named Talluleh .... Jacob called him a "rat" ... and tried to step on him. Then tried to kiss him. I didn't know those things were so cute!
