Pink Monsters and Mascara'd Boys
Long story short ..... Jason LOVES Franken Berry the cereal. Looks for it every year around Halloween - that's the only time they put it out. He was so proud to find two boxes on clearance at Target. Well, me and my developing fetus had a major sugar craving last week and had some of his treasured Franken Berry. And perhaps me and the developing fetus had more the next day also - and the next. I tried to tell the fetus "No, that's daddy's!" -- but alas, the fetus' power over me was too strong!
Anyways, the Franken Berry was gone and me and the developing fetus were quite pleased with our Franken Berry consumption. However, Jason was not. He was convinced his seasonal, treasured Franken Berry was gone for a whole year. He apparently expressed (complained) to his brother the sadness of missing out on the Franken Berry. Then, yesterday a dozen boxes arrived at our house. I might be giving birth to a baby pink Frankenstein!
Also yesterday ...... Jacob was in our bathroom and while I ran to the kitchen for a minute to get ready for an awesome playgroup .... he squished his tiny hands into the inch opening of my baby-proofed make-up drawer and managed to get mascara. The picture explains the rest.

Halloween
Jenny took this at the arboretum, love it! I'll have to post my other arbortum pics soon - it was our first trip their and that place is gorgeous!
More random pics ..... Jacob decided to take a siesta on the kitchen floor, not quite sure why.
He hates when his hands get dirty and was chasing me around begging me to clean them!

Pumpkin Patch (2nd attempt)
On Saturday we attempted the Argyle pumpkin patch but ended up getting our car stuck in the mud .... then, after finally making our way into the patch a young girl came up to us and said "uh, did you pay to get in?" We answered, "no, we didn't see anyone asking us for money?" and the girl said, "uh, you need to walk all the way around and pay." We decided it was not meant to be and got in our muddy car and went out to eat instead. Then, Sunday morning we hit the Flower Mound patch .... it was perfect! Picture posting did not go so well, consider the anti-chronological nature a brain teeser for you.
Here's Jacob (as the Itsy Bitsy Spider) showing Elmo some love ....

News
So I think I've mostly spread the news, but I've been wanting to post it ...... I'm pregnant!!! About 8 weeks to be exact. We are so very excited, due date is May 14th. I've been feeling pretty icky, much more nausea than last time ... but Jacob has been great about momma being so lazy. To think I could have gotten away with being lazy all this time!
I've already got me a little baby bump, more like a baby bulge. I'm digging it. Unlike last time, I am EMBRACING maternity clothes, more like RUNNING to them. Bring on the comfy, stretchy pants! I just hate the way they make your buttox look ... I mean c'mon ladies, let's be honest - who enjoys having their back and buttox combined into one body part. Last time I fought a good fight, but eventually surrendered due to the buttoning and un-bottoning my pants everytime I got up from my desk. Common questions: Yep, it was planned .... and yep, we'll find out the gender. I truly don't care if it's a boy or a girl. Love being a boy mom, but putting dresses on a little girl would be pretty cool. I think clothes shopping for little girls is more fun, but toy shopping for boys is more fun. It's a wash!
We have been working on names (we're ready this time!) and have pretty strong ideas on both, but I don't want to post them just yet in case we change our minds!
