Just take the picture ... BRRRRRR! It was -30 degrees in Keystone that day, as in negative 30 without windchill, without being on top of a mountain. SOOOO cold. We ate at a pub/summit house and secretly called all the exhausted skiers suckers!

Just a Mom .....
.... wanting to show-off her kids!! Before the pictures, some updates: Jacob keeps us laughing, never know what he's going to say next. Jacob has mentioned an Iliana at school - he likes to tell me what color of shirt she wore that day and says she's his friend. His teacher at Mother's Day Out told me they're kind of an item -- he sits next to her at lunch and will oogle over her! Apparently Iliana sometimes gets annoyed, but still plays with him on the playground. The other day I asked him if he saw her and he said "yes, her hair was up" ... I asked him if he liked it and he said "no, like it down!" They start so young! We've had big problems with Jacob's skin out here .... took him to the allergist today for a follow-up on some tests and it just confirmed what we've always been told .... can't do much about it. His skin issues are environmental, the hardest kind to treat. So, I continue to pray for his comfort and for him to outgrow it. Addie Jude has been cruising for months now, but took her first official step yesterday ... at exactly 11 months. She does so well with her solid/table foods and loves her sippy cup. We switch her over to whole milk in a few weeks ... I'm both sad and excited. Sad that I will no longer have a baby on the bottle, but excited to no longer clean bottles! Okay, to be honest ... I'm way excited about not having to clean bottles and buy formula! Addie Jude seems to be pretty laid back, but isn't afraid to let you know when she's displeased. Can't wait to watch her personality blossom ..... she's a happy little girl. And no, it does not escape me how much like me she looks! This was us playing outside today. He's dirty from "digging for worms" - more on that later!
The many hats of Addie Jude!
Sister and Brother playing nice, had to capture it. Although Addie appears scared for her life!
As usual, my pics are all over the place. Jason and I took a "we survived the move to Houston" trip in late January to Colorado ..... it was absolutely perfect! We were probably the only people there not skiing. We didn't want anything "planned" -- we just did as we pleased, and SLEPT! This picture below is of one of my favorite spots in Keystone.
Isn't that pretty?!
My Addie Jude during bath time. She no longer fits in this tub - she loves bath time!
My little Valentine
Nope, can't get into that fireplace anymore!
My other Valentine making V-day cupcakes. He's quite the champion sprinkler.
Valentine's Dinner ... pizza and cupcakes! (and Madelo's!)
The reason it's hard for me to get laundry done ......
Little princess eating her phone
Silly girl!
She's holding her "Miss Molly Dolly" ... she gives it kisses and I love it! She's really trying to eat her, but whatever, it's still cute
At the park
Addie Jude ... we got those bloomers as a gift from our realtor, so cute!
St. Patrick's Day .... sometimes you have to leave one of them in the car seat to get a picture of them together. This was one of those days.
So, worms. Jacob is SOOO into finding worms. He likes to name them also, his go to names are: Cupcake, Cake, Juice, Water and Diet Coke. I'm not proud of the last name. Sometimes they "break" ... and he especially loves the baby worms. He frequently says "worms want to see the playroom mama!" NOOOOOOOO. He's also into June bugs .... he particularly loves their "bottoms" -- not sure why. It's a cute little phase, as long as it stays outside!
He's also very into picking me flowers .... so I took a picture of my very first flower from Jacob!
This is his posing window .... not sure why, but it makes him sit still -- so it works for me. There's Addie in her St. Patrick's Day outfit ... she looks good in green, a true Irish girl!
She has crazy, curly hair after bath time .... LOVE it!
More worms!
Another cute hat
My messy girl!
This is what happens by 4:30 on days Jacob refuses to nap.

Amy.... I hadn't thought about it, but you're right he does look like Jason in that pic ...... Minus the dirty face!
They are adorable! Addie Jude looks so much like a mini you. Looks like you all are settling nicely in Houston.
Hoak's allergies are awful too... Oak can really do a number on his skin. I hope that you can find some relief for you little guy.
Addie Jude looks so big standing by the door!
I think about you a lot... hope all is well.
Keep the pictures and updates coming.
