Jacob turned 15 months old today and we had his well check - it went really good! No follow-up appts necessary. He did have to get his shots .... hate that. He's also been sleeping this week. Yes - you read that correctly - sleeping. And, it was RIGHT after a growth spurt (most of his spurts are very obvious to me - I suppose b/c he grows so much!). In fact, we had him measured two weeks ago at his GI appt and he had even grown since then. So, that gives some heavy weight to the acid reflux/growth spurt theory. I'm not ready to say we're out of this one .... too scared .... but things have definitely improved!
He was off the charts again in height (no surprise) and 80% in weight and head circumference. He's been trying to say several new words lately .... you need a keen mommy ear to hear it, but he's trying more and more. I just love being able to witness their "development" -- it kind of replaces the trophy I feel like I should get for all of the wake-ups.
Could it be that frump mom can retire for a while? I dunno, but I did fix my hair today and yesterday (I have to straighten it .... it's quite a process).
